Garage Gym LabI have to ask…

  • Do you dream of having your own home gym?
  • Maybe you’re looking to take your current home gym to the next level?
  • Are you someone who loves learning about the ever-evolving world of gym equipment?
  • Do you find thorough product reviews helpful when making purchase decisions?

If you answered yes to any of these, you’re in the right place!

Garage Gym Lab is all about tapping into that unwavering passion my readers and I share for training. It’s committed to providing honest and thoughtful advice on equipment, training, and home gyms in general.

My Journey: From Commercial Gym to Home Gym

My name is Adam and in 2016 I dumped my globo gym to start my own home gym. I gotta say, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made when it comes to my training.

I was so sick of dealing with the commercial gym madness. I had such little control over the way I wanted to train that it drove me to my breaking point.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about – tons of people, constant waiting, subpar equipment, lame rules, too many naked geriatrics that I care to quantify, and a slew of other reasons. Oh, and the money. I was tired of shelling out the coin to put up with it all.

So I said ‘screw it’ and decided to leave it all behind for greener pastures. I spent the next few weeks scouring the interwebs reading everything I could on the subject. While I found some very useful information that helped me get started, I realized that practical home gym advice and thorough equipment reviews represented a very underserved market.

So I’m setting out to change that.

Garage Gym Lab was Born

Nearly a year later, and after a lot of research and experimentation, I decided to start Garage Gym Lab with the hope that it could help fill some of that void.

One thing I’ve come to realize is that people, especially in the fitness community, love to read reviews. I know I do. Let’s face it – gym equipment generally isn’t cheap. So why wouldn’t you want to know what you’re getting yourself into before taking the plunge?

As fitness enthusiasts, we are constantly striving to improve. We may want to get stronger, leaner, or generally more fit. But one thing that we all have in common is we have to know how to get there – what kind of equipment to use, how to use it, why to use it, etc…

Those are the types of questions that this site is committed to answering.
