• Ladder Design – The Incline/Decline Adjustable Bench from Vulcan uses a ladder-style adjustment on the back, which tends to be faster and easier to use than a telescoping spine. The seat adjusts with a simple pop-pin. Some assembly is required.
• # of Adjustments – The bench offers 7 back adjustments and 5 seat adjustments for a total of 35 potential adjustment options. The back pad ranges from 0 degrees to 85 and the seat can adjust down to -20 degrees for decline movements.
• Pad/Seat Gap – There is a relatively small pad gap on this particular bench from Vulcan, which helps when performing flat bench press. Still, some users may find the gap to be uncomfortable/in the way depending on their height. If you perform a lot of flat bench presses, having a standalone flat bench as a companion piece may be a good idea.

I was a little concerned due the FID style and not having a post for it to sit level at 90 degrees, but this feels very sturdy. I like how wide the support plate is underneath the back.
